Keira Knightley Brags About Johnny Depp Kiss Some girls have all ...

British actress Keira Knightly has managed to make most red blooded women sick with her recollection of kissing the lovely Johnny Depp.

Knightly recently filmed the second instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series Dead Mans Chest with Depp and her love interest in the film, Orlando Bloom.

Speaking on Entertainment Tonight, Knightly revealed she begged the films director to allow her to share a kiss with Depps character Captain Jack Sparrow.

She said to the director: "Come on, just give me one kiss, give me one kiss, please.

When she finally got her own way she described the experience saying: "It was good. Really good."

If kissing Depp wasnt enough, Knightly also kisses Bloom during the film! She does, however realise how damn lucky she is saying: "It's like, wonderful, I can have feelings for both of these very beautiful men.

Mike Jervis Turns trash into cash

Mike Jervis is a consummate environmentalist. He is also one who takes pride in preserving our cultural and historical artefacts. And in gathering what is termed 'trash' mainly from the seashore, he was able to turn a hobby into a vocation. Says he: "I've always been fascinated by small Bahamian wooden houses....so I started making replicas as a hobby. Some of my friends saw it, they were impressed ... and that gave me the motivation to continue. I took the first house to the market as an experiment and sold it immediately....so I ventured out in constructing other old Bahamian houses."

That was five years ago and Mike has since developed a part-time vocation that is both therapeutic , and rewarding.

Mike says with pride that among those who encouraged him is renowned Bahamian artist Stan Burnside.

The Relax-and-Enjoy Thing

"Is this a bad time?" I was feeling a little awkward invading the privacy of other boats, so it was important to approach on a polite tack, I figured.

"Is there such a thing as a bad time?" answered an elderly gent, who stopped buttoning up a mainsail cover aboard Polaris to chat with me. Polaris is a Passport 40 he'd helped his compadre sail from Puerto Rico to Trellis Bay, Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. He grabbed the painter of the dinghy that held my partner, Captain Rick Martell, and me, and brought us alongside.

His-question-with-a-question comeback, the twinkle in his eye, and the smile all over his sunscreen-smeared face made me fall in love all over again with everyone and everything Virgin Islands, where Rick and I had cruised and worked as charter crew in the 1990s.

Clement runs year

Kerron Clement ran the fastest 400 meters hurdles in the world this year, 47.39 seconds, despite stuttering at the final barrier in the U.S. championships on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, who broke Michael Johnson's indoor 400 meters world record in 2005, raced past world champion Bershawn Jackson in the closing 40 meters to repeat as the national champion.
Jackson was second in 47.48 seconds.
Season-leading performances were also set in the women's 400 meters and the women's 400 meters hurdles.
World silver medallist Sanya Richards clocked 49.27 seconds to retain her U.S. women's 400 meters title. Lashinda Demus clocked 53.50 seconds in the women's 400 hurdles.
Men's world silver medallist Andrew Rock won the men's 400 meters in 44.45 seconds with LaShawn Merritt second in 44.50 seconds.

PGA TOUR: Dufner thrilled with play at LaSalle Bank, US Open

"The thing I will take away from this week, over and above the great experience, is a gauge on where my game stacks up against the best players in the world,"he said. "This was a great test for me. I'll see where I need to get to to play on the next level."

Actually, Dufner has been there and done that once before -- at the U.S. Open and the next -- golf's highest -- level. Dufner played in the 2001 U.S. Open, where he missed the cut, before earning exempt status on the Nationwide Tour after Monday qualifying for the Nationwide's Hershey Open.

A 12th place finish got him into the Wichita Open and he won by shooting 22 under. He played his way onto the PGA TOUR in 2004 by finishing 10th on the Nationwide Tour money list in '03 thanks to 10 top-10 finishes.
